Selected Frames from White House

White House is a single-channel video artwork examining the dynamic relationship among architecture, light, and the physical body.

As the building casts its shadow upon the ground, light delineates an immaterial boundary. The artist walks continuously along this shifting edge, placing the physical body precisely at the threshold where light meets shade. Walking here serves no destination; instead, it translates an optical illusion—previously meant only to be seen—into a physical space to be inhabited and experienced.

Positioned between physical architecture and the virtual shadow, the body moves along this invisible line. White House focuses neither on the building itself nor on the vanishing of shadows, but on how the simple act of walking activates a liminal space—weaving light, space, and time into a constantly shifting existential field through bodily presence.
