Le Xi’s Drawings

Le Xi’s drawings present people who may appear the same — defined only by the number and size of lines. What truly differentiates them is imagination, expressed as energy. This energy flows back and forth between individuals: sometimes it enlarges them, sometimes it dissolves into another. In these works, the lines shift and evolve, suggesting gestures, movements, and actions. Yet they do not tell a complete story. Instead, they become a form of simple communication — pointing to something we may have lost, but still feel deeply familiar with.
