Dynamic Resonance

Dynamic Resonance serves as an on-site perceptual archive documenting the fleeting synchronization between the physical body and everyday industrial machinery. As the artist's routine mode of daily transit, the subway—with its gravitational shifts and track vibrations—creates a daily, synchronized oscillation between flesh and machine. Utilizing a direct, mobile-recorded vantage point, the work applies a masking mechanism that transforms the silhouette of an outstretched arm into a viewing window, encapsulating roaring metal tracks, tunnel conduits, and streaking lights within the contours of human flesh.

As the train speeds forward, the streaking parallel lines of the tracks clash against the soft muscular curves of the arm. This is not a fictionalized performance, but a visceral examination of technology rewriting bodily boundaries within the micro-gaps of daily transit. Amidst electromagnetic hums and biological pulses, it captures a perceptual slice forged through the ongoing interpenetration, overlapping, and tug-of-war between human perception and systemic machinery.
